About Edward

Edward’s Story

Edward was born 23 weeks 5 days old, weighing in at 1 pound 5 ounces. He was the younger of twins boys. His older brother William died 10 days after birth. Edward had many medical issues in his first few weeks and months of life. Edward ended up taking a chopper ride to LA and back for heart surgery. After Edward returned to Lancaster’s NICU unit, Edward spent the next 100+ days growing big and strong. After 109 days in the hospital Edward got to finally go home. Edward is so thankful for all the wonderful friends he and his parents made while Edward was in the hospital. Edward and his family are also thankful for the wonderful medical care Edward received. We will never be able to fully show you how thankful we are, but we promise to visit often to say hello to everyone at the NICU.
